Grace Community Baptist Church was founded in 1984, and through a series of moves, eventually settled in North Providence, RI. In 2011, we purchased the Saint Lawrence Building, because we felt this was the building and community where we could serve and do the most good as a congregation.  Our mission is to provide a place to learn, grow and minister the truths God has made known in His Word, ‘the Bible’ and to reach our neighbors with the glorious good news of Jesus Christ the Lord.

It has been the goal of GCBC to teach the Bible with doctrinal purity and theological accuracy and to apply it to our individual lives so that we can be all that God calls us to be.  In meeting together corporately, it provides us with the opportunity to mutually encourage one another and to be strengthened in our walks as a community of God’s people.

Our great desire both individually and corporately is to live the entirety of our lives for “the glory and honor to our Living Redeemer”, Jesus Christ the Lord, and to reach others with the good news of His salvation.  As believers, we seek to conduct ourselves in a manner consistent with biblical, historical, confessional Christ-centered, church-focused Christianity with affects all of life.
